Free Garden Preview at Cawdor Castle

Cawdor Castle and Gardens in Cawdor, Nairn, will be celebrating National Gardening Week (13-19 April), by opening the gardens free of charge on Friday 17th April. During National Gardening Week, Cawdor Castle and Gardens will be encouraging visitors to make the most of the beautiful gardens on their doorstep, and be inspired to try their hand at gardening at home. The gardens at Cawdor Castle and at Auchindoune House will be open free to the public between 10am and 4pm.

Midnight on the Great Glen Way at Inverness

Fri 17 Apr 2015. Walk a section of the Great Glen Way when all other walkers have gone to bed and the best wildlife has just come out. Limited transport back to the start of the walk is available on a first come first served basis. This event starts at 18:00 and finishes after midnight.

The Nip – Whisky & Gin Festival at Inverness

This festival is about rediscovering the joy of craft Whisky & Gin.
The Nip – Whisky & Gin Festival is a celebration of the Highlands and Islands finest distilleries and the Nip is a celebration of their produce – the whisky and gin.
The Nip has grown from Inverness Whisky Festival and the programme will take place throughout the City of Inverness culminating with a showcase at Bogbain Farm. Event starts on: 07/04/2015 and ends on: 11/04/2015.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt

The Great Easter Egg Hunt will take place in Inverness City Centre Friday 18th & Saturday 19th April 2014. Lots going on for all the family to enjoy!  Following a set of cracking clues find the hidden eggs in the shop windows – 5 in the old town and 5 in Eastgate Centre.  Free chocolate will be offered for every entry & entry into the prize draw to win £50 of Eastgate vouchers. Entertainment will include giant Easter bunnies & teddies and the Madhatter & friend doing circus tricks.  Crafty Monkeys also will be there with ceramic Easter egg painting as well as a fantastic face painter.
